Products
The products template displays all information related to an individual product. It is designed to help customers explore product details, select variants, and make a purchase.
A default breadcrumb navigation is also available for quick navigation.
Sections available in the products template
The products template includes the following sections:
- Product section
- Product tabs
- Recommended products
Product section
The Product Section is available exclusively on the Products template. It is built using configurable blocks, allowing you to arrange product information to suit your store’s needs.
The available blocks include:
| Blocks | Description |
|---|---|
| Vendor | Displays the product vendor or brand. |
| Title | Displays the product title using a prominent heading. |
| Short description | Displays a brief summary of the product. Note: This block requires a short_description product metafield. |
| Price | Displays the product price, including both the regular price and sale price (when applicable). |
| Variant picker | Allows customers to select product variants using an intuitive interface with swatches or buttons instead of standard drop down menus. |
| Inventory | Displays the available inventory when inventory tracking is enabled. |
| Product Form | Contains the purchasing actions, including the Add to Cart button. |
| Availability | Displays product availability across different store locations. |
| Complementary Products | Displays products that pair well with the current product. Note: Complementary products are managed through Shopify’s Search & Discovery app. |
Product tabs
By default, the Product Tabs section displays the product description. Additional tabs can be added to display more product information.

Recommended products
The Recommended Products section displays products related to the one currently being viewed.
Products are displayed in a responsive four-column grid (depending on screen size) using the same reusable Product Card component found throughout the Collections pages, providing a consistent shopping experience across the store.
